Example Sunday verdict · Sun 25 Oct
Sam’s third week in a row. The lead is now 1.4 points with five weeks to go.
| M | T | W | T | F | S | S | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sam | −2.7 | −2.8 | −2.9 | −3.0 | −3.1 | −2.9 | −3.4 |
| Alex | −1.9 | −2.2 | −2.4 | −2.3 | — | — | −2.0 |
Seven from seven, and 0.9 down on the week. The lunchtime walks on Tuesday to Thursday are doing more than you think. Watch Saturday: your own notes turned “a couple of pints” into four, and it showed on Sunday morning’s scales before you clawed it back.
Your notes made this easy to read. Keep writing like that.
Monday to Wednesday was your best stretch yet: home cooking and two gym sessions. Thursday and Friday undid most of it, and with Friday and Saturday blank I can’t tell you exactly where, only that something went wrong. Log every day, especially the bad ones.
Alex logged Thursday’s dinner as “a small pizza”. Friday’s note says “finished the pizza”. We have questions.
Alex then missed two weigh-ins, both the morning after pizza. The scales didn’t break, Alex. We checked.
Sam’s exercise log for Tuesday: “walked to the chip shop”. Technically cardio. Technically.
